An Inexpensive Luxury For Any Home -- Scented Candles
Everyone wants to beautify their home -- the trouble is, many ways of home beautification such as purchasing new appliances or furniture, painting or renovating, can be very expensive! But there is an inexpensive alternative -- something that you can purchase for just about any room in your home -- good-quality scented candles.
The best-quality scented candles will have a very strong fragrance and will burn for an extended period of time. One popular type of scented candle today is the scented floating candle -- these are scented candles which can float on the surface of your bath water or hot tub. Typically you put them on a lightweight dish holder. You just suspend them in the water, light the wick, and relax!
If you are looking to save even more money -- or you need to purchase your scented candles in a larger volume -- and then you can purchase scented candles at wholesale prices. Wholesale scented candles can usually be purchased in the quantities ranging from half a dozen all the way up to entire cases. This is also a great option if you are purchasing candles for a large home, or for an institution such as a nursing home, orphanage, or business.
If you want to preserve the special fragrance of your scented candles between burning times, then you should invest in some jar candles. Scented jar candles usually come equipped with a detachable lid which can be replaced to extinguish the flame and to preserve the fragrance until the next time you light the candle. Again, if you are looking to save more money, you can purchase wholesale scented jar candles in larger quantities -- and wholesale scented jar candles also make popular choices for fund-raising events.
The holiday season is fast approaching -- and if you aren't looking for gifts yet, you soon will be! If you have candle-lovers on your gift-giving list, you can purchase a great-smelling scented candle gift set for each one. Scented candle gift sets are relatively inexpensive and are eminently practical.
One of the most exciting developments in the candle scene is the manufacture of gel candles. These innovative candles have a completely different texture and appearance than traditional wax-based candles -- and scented gel candles are not only great-smelling but fun to look at as well.
If you like designer fragrances, you can check out one of the many types of design or scented candles being made today. Some of the most popular colognes and perfumes are being incorporated into design or scented candles. Imagine, filling an entire room -- or perhaps even your entire home -- with your favorite cologne fragrance!
Of course, if you are a traditionalist, then you probably like the old-fashioned pine scented candles. These are also great to use around the home during the holiday season, giving your rooms a fresh, clean fragrance. Pine scented candles are usually also very inexpensive, so they make a good, basic, every day scented candle that you can use all the time.
If you prefer a scented candle with a really strong scent, you can purchase triple scented jar candles. These jar candles have much more fragrance -- several times the concentration of fragrance oils -- found in other types of scented candles. While they may cost a bit more, the upside is that triple scented jar candles will keep their fragrance a lot longer.
Finally, if you are looking for a good-quality, basic every day scented candle -- don't forget the old standby: Glade scented candles. These aren't your grandmothers candles! Glade scented candles are available just about anywhere, and they are one of the most inexpensive candles you can buy.

Scented candles are great for relaxing the mind after a long day, I love how this site explains the fundamental differences between candle types and I actually learned a lot about oils here! Just wanted to thank you for bringing me this information. I've searched a lot of sites trying to learn about aromatherapy and this gave me a lot of leads to use in further "google" research!

I really enjoy using scented candles in our home. I use lighter fragrances in the summer and richer ones in the winter months. Of course I change all the candle to pine, bayberry, or cinnamon during the holiday season.
